Birks Emerald Ring / May Birthstone Ring / Emerald and Diamond Three Stone Ring

This beautiful diamond and emerald ring was manufactured by Birks. Founded in Montreal in 1879 by Henry Birks, Birks Jewellers (now Maison Birks) is a historic Canadian luxury brand renowned for high-quality jewelry, watches, and the iconic Blue Box, introduced in 1920. Rooted in 16th-century English silversmithing traditions, the company expanded nationally in 1901 and became an iconic Canadian institution, eventually merging with Mayors in 2005.

Henry Birks opens his first boutique in Montreal at 32 Saint James Street, focused on quality jewelry and silver. The firm becomes Henry Birks and Sons when Henry partners with his three sons, William, John, and Gerald.

The gemstones in the ring are all natural earth mined gemstones. The emerald measures 3mm round and is estimated to weigh 0.12 cts. The two natural diamonds on the shoulders are estimated to weight 0.20 cts total.

The gems are all set securely and the top of the ring is two tone with the diamonds set in white gold to bring out their brilliance.

The inside of the ring is stamped BIRKS JF / 14K. While Birks manages design and quality control, the "J.F" indicates the manufacturing partner.
