This Art Deco ring is set with a natural, earth mined blue sapphire. The sapphire is a round stone and is estimated to weigh 1.10 cts.
The sapphire has distinctive colour zoning and an inclusion that proves that this ring has been made with natural, earth mined sapphire. When worn the colour zoning is not readily seen, it is observed mostly when looked in the light. Zoning, or sometimes referred to as "color-zoning" is when the color intensity or color purity is not uniform throughout the sapphire.
The top of the ring is made out of white gold, and has a floral leaf motif. The shank is made out of 18K yellow gold. The ring is stamped on the inside of the shank 14 - 18K <F.H.> No information has been found about the manufacturer.
The ring has an independent appraisal from Gem Grade dated October 18, 2022 that will accompany the purchase.

One round shaped, faceted sapphire, measuring approx. 6.48-6.46 x 3.56mm, weighting approx. 1.10 ct, by gauge of medium dark tone of moderately strong violets blue colour, moderately included, good cut.
