Engraved Silver Locket with Photos / ICM Engraved Locket / Floral Locket

This beautiful engraved locket has a lovely floral engraved front, and the back has the initials of the original owner. But the true treasure is that it comes with a family photographed in black and white on a swing set outside a house.

The locket measures 1.5 inches in length and 1 inch in width. If you include the frame and the bail at the top of the locket it measures 2 inches in length. 

The top of the locket has a lovely floral engraved design. The swirls and scrolls and the border are all expertly hand engraved. A tribute to a true artisan. The back of the locket has a swirled monogram with the initials are I.C.M. The central initial M is slightly larger so this would be the family name.

The locket is on a new 16 inch silver chain. The chain is marked 925 ITALY.

The inside of the locket has two photo compartments with plastic frames. They hold two black and white photographs of a man and a woman, who are both seated on a swing set (you can see that there is the same metal chain holding the swing set) The man is so handsome in his suit and the woman looks beautiful in her white outfit and scarf. What a treat to witness this family moment.

The locket closes securely with a good "snap" when you close the locket. The locket is antique as the back of the locket is engraved for metal purity as "STERLING". Sterling was used prior to 925 being widely used for sterling silver.
