This is one of the most outstanding bar brooches that I have ever seen. The diamonds are bright, fiery and scintillating. The brooch is composed of mix cuts of Old Mine cut diamonds and rose cut diamonds.
The top is set in silver and backed in gold. The brooch is not hallmarked but the metal tests as 14K.
The brooch has been altered from the original C Clasp, which is traditional of Victorian brooches. The C clasp has an additional shield of gold that has been applied to the inside of the C Clasp to make it more secure.
The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.80 cts VVS-I and GH colour.
All diamonds are natural and original to the brooch
