This lovely silver book chain is engraved on the outside, and has a nice weight to it. The inside of the bracelet is plain but there is an inscription on the inside that tells a bit of a story.
The inside is inscribed: M.E.L. May 1933. I wish jewellery could talk and tell its story. I'd love to hear about the adventure that this bracelet has been on.
The engraving on the bracelet has a floral and scroll appearance.
The bracelet is not hallmarked, but it does test as sterling silver.
The bracelet also has an added safety chain to ensure that should it open it will remain on your wrist. The clasp is strong and closes securely.
