This antique watch chain is simply stunning with all of the engraved details. The chain and clasp are gold filled and have a deco look on the straight bars, and a floral repousse on the small links that attach the straight bars together. The details on the metal work just make this chain.
The straight bars have two distinct Deco patterns, and the deep etching on them reflects the light back to you for interest and appeal. The larger bar has a dotted pattern on all four sides and a diagonal space that runs like a ribbon in the centre. The shorter bars are patterned in a harlequin pattern on all four sides, and I just love how they look.
The chain measures 13.75 inches from clasp to the end. The chain has one working clasp, and a jump ring on the other end. The dog clip that is still in working order. The dog clip is stamped with the manufacturer's trademark L MFG CO.
LMFG CO is the trademark for Le Stage Mfg. Co. They are a jewellery manufacturer based out of North Attleboro MA, USA. They were in business from 1934 - 1950s.
