This vintage 18K Yellow Gold Band has the manufacturer's trademark stamped on the inside of the ring, and it tells quite a telling story. It is such a soft buttery yellow gold, that is just stunning to wear. What a great piece of history that is still very wearable today.
The ring is an antique wedding band made out of 18K Yellow Gold. It was made by Ebenezer Eaton Bailey (hallmark E.E. Bailey) from Claremont, NH who operated his business from 1836 - 1862. Over the course of his lifetime, he aligned his business with S.C. Bailey in 1836 - 1862 (Partnership of Ebenezer Eaton Bailey and Samuel Chase Bailey) and E.E. Bailey and Co in 1837 - 1839 which was a partnership between Ebenezer Eaton Bailey, Charles Bailey,Roswell H. Bailey, and Samuel Chase Bailey.
