This silver statement ring is set with three bright colourful stones that bring energy and protection. The ring is set with a warm deep amber carnelian, black onyx and bright green agate. The stones are spaced apart by two rows of marcasite that is cut in a rose cut pattern to reflect light.
Carnelian was the stone of courage to the ancient Romans. The orange hue of the stone was well regarded and the Ancient Egyptians greatly desired the stone, and it was widely used in jewellery.
The dark black only is a stone that is thought to bring powers of protection.
Green agate increases compassion, generosity and a keen sense of justice, along with enhancing mental and emotional flexibility, improving decision-making and resolving disputes.
Marcasite because of its close resemblance to gold, is thought to bring wealth. It is often called fools gold and it beautifully reflects light.
The ring is stamped for makers mark and metal purity. The ring is stamped TH 925. 925 indicates that the ring is sterling silver. I have not found any information on the manufacturer.
The stones are well secure in the setting, and they are re-enforced with jeweller's glue.
