In fact, translated from French, fleur-de-lis means “lily flower.” Fleur means “flower,” while lis means “lily.” The fleur-de-lis is an iconic symbol that permeates modern culture. You can find the design at the top of fence posts, on the north point of a compass, on the pattern of fabrics, and in the details of countless designs. With each use, the fleur-de-lis holds unique symbolism. In a religious context, it may denote purity. French monarchs used the symbol to denote the divine right to rule.
This stunning Italian made ring is a show stopper. It features a Fleur-de-Lis-de-lis on the top and wonderful filigree sides. Due to the unique craftsmanship of the ring it is made with a strong cross grid construction under the ring. The smooth lines are comfortable to wear and very light. Due to the unique construction of the ring, the ring is unable to be sized.

The ring is stamped on the underside of the ring. It is marked 1758 AR. That is a gold hallmark attributed to GOLDEN CLEF INTERNATIONAL S.P.A. in the Arezzo area of Italy. The ring is made of 14K Yellow Gold.
