Late 50s/ Early 60s Rhinestone Expansion Bracelet

$100.00
库存量单位 BRC-26-0001

Rhinestone jewelry was popular in the 1950s and early 60s due to post-war prosperity, the rise of cocktail culture, and fashion's embrace of glamour, offering accessible sparkle for evening wear and everyday outfits. Rhinestone pieces complemented feminine silhouettes like Dior's "New Look" and provided affordable glamour for the burgeoning middle class before shifting towards mod styles later in the 60s.

After WWII austerity, people sought celebration, leading to more extravagant styles and social events like cocktail parties where bold costume jewelry shone. This beautiful expansion bracelet is a sparkling delight.

The bracelet features 3 diagonal rows of clear rhinestones in a silver-tone stretch setting. All of the rhinestones are prong set. The expansion bracelet measures approximately ½” high and 2” wide without being expanded. It should fit up to a medium or a little larger wrist.

The bracelet is not signed and it is in fantastic condition given it's age.

There is one stone that is discoloured. Please refer to the photos.
