Art Deco Three Stone Ring / Platinum and 18K Yellow Gold Old European Cut Ring

This three stone Art Deco ring makes for quite the statement.

All the diamonds are Old European Cut diamonds set in an illusion setting. An illusion setting is a prong setting designed to make a diamond look bigger than it actually is. This is accomplished by a ring of metal surrounding the girdle of the diamond that is often brightly cut. This ring diffuses the outline of the stone causing it to look larger.

The ring is an Art Deco beauty that is made in fine platinum, and in 18K Yellow Gold.

The centre stone is an Old European cut diamond estimated to be 0.15 ct and the two side stones are estimated to be 0.10 ct each.

The diamonds are in a star setting in platinum and the prongs are still secure holding the diamonds in place.
