Floriography is the 'language of flowers'. Dating back to the Victorian times floriography was used as a means of coded communication through various flowers and floral arrangements, allowing people to express feelings which otherwise could not be spoken.

Hidden meanings were also spoken in the flowers that appeared in paintings, poems and even in jewelry. Through the years people have used flowers to express their feelings to others in many ways and in modern times flowers still have various different meanings.

This Victorian bracelet is hand engraved with two flowers on the front. An open rose and a Forget-me-not. The rose is the most widely known meaning, with "I Love You" and the Forget-me-not conveyed "True love, Faithfulness, Remembrance" On the edges of the bracelet, there are Ivy leaves, which also had a hidden meaning of 'Fidelity, Wedded Love, Affection, Friendship"

The bracelet for it's age is in good condition, considering that it is over 100 years old.

The bracelet is stamped REAL SILVER on the inside of the bracelet and the clasp is in good working order and closes with a snap.
