Cabochon Blue Sapphire and Diamond Ring / Sapphire and Diamond Ring / September Birthstone Ring

Sapphires, particularly blue sapphires, are rich in lore and legends across various cultures and religions, often symbolizing wisdom, royalty, and divine favor. They have been associated with protection, spiritual enlightenment, and even the ability to reveal secrets. 

Well the only secret that this ring is going to reveal is how amazing it is. The central stone is a bright blue cabochon natural sapphire. A cabochon is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished into a smooth, convex (rounded) dome, rather than faceted (having many flat, polished faces). The term comes from the French word "caboche," meaning head, due to the rounded shape. 

The sapphire measures 3mm x 4mm and is estimated to weigh 0.30 cts. The blue sapphire is a lovely shade of blue and is very bright and lively. 

The shoulders are set with two (2) natural diamonds and are estimated to weigh 0.02 cts.

All gems are natural earth mined gemstones.

The gold is both 10K Yellow and White Gold. The white gold is the setting around the diamonds, the yellow gold is the bezel of the sapphire and the shank of the ring. The shank has a watch strap design and is very chic.

The inside of the shank has been marked for metal purity and manufacturer's trademark, however no information has been found on the manufacturer.
