This vintage diamond engagement ring is just a sweet Art Deco ring. Art Deco was an international decorative style than ran from 1919 to 1939. And I suspect that this ring was made in 1930s - 1940s, which would also co-inside with the Great Depression.
The diamond set in the ring is a natural earth mined diamond, and is original to the ring. The ring would make a wonderful promise ring, or birthstone ring to celebrate a birthday.
The diamond measures 2.5 mm round and is estimated to weigh 0.05 to 0.07 cts. The diamond is set in 14K white gold, and the shank is 14K yellow gold. The shank is stamped for metal purity it is marked: 14K
