This beautiful vintage patterned band is so stunning. It is made of 10K yellow gold and is a stunning ring for your special day or simply in a ring stack.
The centre band is beautifully engraved with a floral forget me not pattern. There are 7 flowers that encircle the band. The number seven is often considered to be a lucky number. And, when it comes to love, that couldn’t be more true! The number seven is associated with the planet Venus, which is known as the “planet of love.”
The band is fully made in yellow gold. This leads me to believe that this is made in the 1940s, as there was more of a trend to go towards yellow gold. Due to the war effort, many of the materials used in the manufacturing of jewellery had to be diverted to the war effort. Platinum and base metal were unavailable. Gold was the metal of choice, although it had to be used sparingly as it was scarce, expensive and disposable income was small.

This ring is currently a size 7.25 US, due to its pattern that goes all the way around the band this ring will not be sizeable. These rings are rare to find in larger sizes.
The inside of the ring is marked for metal purity and the manufacture's trademark. The ring is stamped 10K and C.M.J. I have not been able to locate any information on the manufacturer.
