This antique pendant is a horseshoe and the initial "T"
There is much debate on how to hang a horseshoe. Do you hang it up so that it catches the luck, or do you hang it facing down, so the luck falls on you. But after much research - it looks like it doesn't much matter. As long as you have the horseshoe!
The pendant measures 18mm in height (without the bail) and 14mm wide. The pendant is lightweight and easy to wear.
The back of the pendant is stamped for metal purity. It is marked K14 to signify 14K yellow gold.
The charm is very thin and it looks like it was designed like that on purpose for ease of wear as it is very comfortable and light.
