Throughout history, pink sapphires have been symbols of love. In Asian lore, they are sometimes compared to the sacred lotus flower, representing beauty, wisdom and purity.
The color of pink sapphires ranges from pale pink often described as "cotton candy" or "fairytale pink" to deep reddish-pink with very little in between those two extremes. The color can vary depending on where they were mined, the amount of the element chromium or even how they were cut because each stone will have unique properties.
This ring is set with four (4) light pink sapphires, spaced between three (3) diamonds. The gemstones are all natural earth mined stones.
The sapphires measure approximately 2mm round, and total estimated carat weight is estimated at 0.20 cts.
The diamonds measure approximately 2mm round, and total estimated carat weight is estimated at 0.15 cts.
The ring is set in 10K white gold, which brings out the bright diamonds and gives a nice soft look against the pastel pink sapphires.
