Pearls have long been desired throughout the centuries.

Cleopatra once bet Marc Antony that she could host the most expensive dinner in history. The queen hoped to impress Antony and the Roman Empire he represented with the extent of Egypt’s wealth. In her clever attempt to do so, she crushed one large pearl from a pair of earrings and dissolved it in a goblet of wine before gulping it down. She then attempted to crush the other earring into the wine goblet of Marc Anthony. Astonished, Antony declined his dinner—the matching pearl—and admitted she had won.

Pearls have such an amazing history and has been desired by wealthy, nobility and royalty that's its no wonder that we see it so often in fine jewellery.

This lovely ring makes the perfect birthstone ring for someone born in June or just a first ring for a little lady. The pearl has a flattened look and it's great as it won't catch on many things.

The creamy white is offset from the warm yellow gold.

The ring is hallmarked and trademarked on the inside of the shank. The ring is stamped BRD 10K.

I have not been able to identify any information on the manufacturer of the ring. The shoulders of the ring has a nice texture and details where the gold is textured.

This looks so great and catches the light in the sun.

The ring is currently a size 6.5 US. The ring is sizeable.
