Portuguese Silver Filigree Brooch / Porto Portugal Brooch / Leaf Brooch

This beautiful Portuguese made brooch is made sometime between 1985 and 2015.

It is evident from the hallmarks which are found in two places on this silver brooch. This brooch was handmade in Porto, Portugal which is Portugal's second largest city.

Porto is a city rich in history and artisans and has been a leading trade centre since the Roman times. This silver filigree brooch which is typical of fine Portuguese craftsmanship is marked for silver and that it was manufactured there.

The brooch is in excellent condition and looks very delicate yet sturdy enough for daily wear.
