Baguette Semi-Eternity Band / Wedding Band / Anniversary Ring / Push Present Ring
Anniversary bands, a tradition of giving rings to commemorate marriage anniversaries, have roots in ancient civilizations and evolved over centuries. The exchange of rings signifies commitment, love, and fidelity, with anniversary bands solidifying the marriage's strength and continued bond.
The use of rings as symbols of commitment can be traced back to ancient Greece and Rome. And it continued into medieval Europe where the custom of giving rings to celebrate marriage anniversaries became a way to renew and celebrate marital commitment.
Today, anniversary bands are a popular way to celebrate milestone anniversaries like the 10th, 15th, or 25th wedding anniversary, or to commemorate other significant events like the birth of a child. De Beers had popularized the eternity band (or eternity ring) in the 1960s as a way to use smaller diamonds as a way to enhance the engagement ring. This led to De Beers creating a campaign to promote these rings to married women to celebrate milestones.
This band is very unique in that it is set with baguette diamonds for a different look that is very sleek and stylish. Perfect to be paired with an Emerald cut diamond or Asher.
The ring is set with twenty-four (24) natural diamonds. Each diamond measures approximately 2mm x 1mm and are estimated to weigh 0.025 cts each. That puts the total carat weight to approximately 0.60 cts.
All diamonds are natural earth mined diamonds.
The diamonds are set securely in a channel setting in 14K White gold. The ring is laser engraved on the inside of the shank for the metal purity. It is engraved 14K. I loved the extra details like the lattice work on the back of the diamonds that make it so comfortable to wear. They really thought about all the elements when crafting this ring.
