Sapphire and Diamond Ring / Sapphire Engegement Ring / September Birthstone Ring

In ancient Greece and Rome, kings and queens believed sapphires protected them from harm and envy. The celestial blue color of this gemstone symbolized heaven and attracted divine favor and wise judgment. Greeks wore sapphire for guidance when seeking answers from the oracle.

The sapphire itself is a natural earth mined stone and has a deep rich royal blue. The cut is an oval shape that measures 5mm x 4mm and is estimated to weigh 0.50 cts.

On either side of the blue sapphire are two (2) diamonds. Each diamond are round cut stones with scintillating fire and are estimated to weigh 0.10 cts each.

The ring is set in 14K white gold and the ring has been stamped for metal purity on the inside of the shank. The ring is stamped 14K IMC. I have not found any information about the manufacturer.
